Let's Play House

It's cloudy, rainy day and little Benjamin Bunny and his friend Danny Duckling don't know what to do. They decide to play house, but before long everything looks like it is getting mixed up. My favourite toys

Chilren must always learn the importance of sharing their toys with brothers and sisters, friends, and other visitors. It is a part of growing up and learnining to get along with others. In this story, Benjamin is enjoying a brand-new toy train when his best friend Danny Duckling comes for a visit. Benjamin is not ready to share his new toy, and this makes Danny feel left out.

Just when Danny begins to lose his patience and is about to leave, Benjamin suddenly realizes that even the best toys are not much fun without someone to share them with. In the end, Danny and Benjamin have a delightful time playing an sharing together. It is an important lesson for a child to learn that a good friend is more enjoyable and fun than even their most favourite toy.

I Had an Accident

Accidents always happen, expecially in the lives of young children. Youngsters must be taught how to play safely outdoors when running or cycling on their own. When Benjamin Bunny has a painful fall from his bicycle, he knows he can count on a hug from Mummy and some soothing words to wash away his tears. Learning to ride a bicycle or playing other physical sports and games always involves a few mishaps, but children need to be encourages and supported so that they wil continue to practise and improve.

A child may otherwise become overly fearful, and they wil never learn to persevere in order perfect their skills. In this story, Mummy reassures Benjamin and tells him how brave he is. This makes enjamin proud of himself. Mummy and Benjamin also realize that all children should wear a safety helmet whe cycling.

My Itchy Spots are Chickenpox !

Poor little Benjamin Bunny wakes up one morning feeling awful. Then he finds he is covered in itchy spots! It is chickenpox. At first Benjamin is worried that he has a terrible illness, but Mymmy reassures him. Almost evert child experiences the strange, worrisome feeling of catching chickenpox, a very common childhood illness.

A child learns that they must rest a lot in order to take care of their bodies when they are sick. Little Benjamin is happy to stay home from preschool for couple of days, having dun and being pampered by Mummy. After some time, however, staying at home in bed becomes rather boring and lonely. Benjamin is cheered up, though, when he gets a surprise in his mailbox.

Is it Alive ?

At a certain age, a child's facourite question is "Why?". Why is the sky blue? Wht is the grass green? Little Benjamin Bunny has reached the age where he is curious about everything around him. He wants to know chich things are alive and chich are not. How can we tell them apart? As he walks through the forest with Mummy, he gets confused. Some things that move and change shapre - like clouds - are not alove.

Other things - like trees - stand perfectly still, but they are alove. Mymmy patiently explains that things that are alove breathe, grow and change. In the end, Benjamin realizes how lucky he is to be alive - and to have such a wonderful mummy!

A Visit to the Doctor

A child's visit to the doctor's clinic can be a worrisome or fearful experience, especially when it is time to get a vaccination needle. Mummy does he best to explain to Benjamin how nice the doctor is and to reassure him there is nothing to fear. Both Mummy and the doctor to their best to distract Benjamin, so that he does not worry so much.

Benjamin gets weighed on the scale and has his eyes, ears and mouth checked. With kind words and Mummy nearby, brave Benjamin Bunny has plucked up the courage: he is ready for the doctor's needle. There is a tiny pinched feeling, then the doctor tells him it is already finished!

It wasn't hald as bad as he expected.Benjamin Bunny is proud of himself for being brave - and the doctor rewards him with a sweet. In this story, children read about worrisome experiences, only to find that the worry and fear are usually worse than a doctor's needle!
